WE ARE

P.R.O.U.D.

PERSISTENT. RESPONSIBLE. OVERCOME.  UNAPOLOGETIC. DETERMINED.

Mission

Project P.R.O.U.D. is a non-for-profit organization designed to build and foster healthy social-emotional skills through engaging activities and discussions.
Project P.R.O.U.D’s program series will challenge young girls’ self-awareness, morals, and views of their environment.
Our objective is to give young girls the tools to uplift and empower themselves, so they may become active models with their peers.

PERSISTENT

Our girls will learn to chase their dreams & never allow hardships to deter them.

RESPONSIBLE

They will understand the importance of taking ownership of their actions and their words.

OVERCOME

The saying "I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become" begins to be a state of mind that our girls live by.

UNAPOLOGETIC

They will have the courage to be just who they are-out loud!

DETERMINED

Their minds will be steadfast on their goals and dreams that they want in life.

Project. P.R.O.U.D. creates a positive and safe space for our young girls to explore a widely-range of  jaded concepts such as beauty, love, loyalty, etc.

In addition to exploring, this program is a platform to share their experiences as well.

Why Now?

DO THEY NEED A
SENSE COMMUNITY?

ARE THEY LACKING
CONFIDENCE?

ARE THEY SEEKING ATTENTION
NO MATTER THE COST?

We want our schools to be bully-free, therefore we promote zero tolerance policies, and create loose curriculum with the
hopes to provide preventative strategies and coping skills. But we fail to internalize and act on the saying, “Hurt people hurt people.”

Project P.R.O.U.D. believes in taking care of the internal to influence the external. Like one’s view of self, this project is designed to work as a trickle down effect.
The ultimate goal is to change lives through bringing awareness and encouraging change in the way we think and respond to our environment.
Once change and/or awareness occurs, we produce a better sense of worth and value.

If we want a bully-free zone, we must be sure to persistently foster the positive; building one’s self-esteem and self-development.
